Yondota Falls
Yondota Falls may be found by turning north off of Hwy 2 in Marenisco on Cty 523 (Copps Mine Rd) and driving north for about 3.25 miles. Park on the shoulder, just past the bridge, and follow the path leading downstream. There should be a wooden sign marking the path, waterfall. It is a short walk from the road. Yondota Falls is a single plunge nestled in between two large mounds of rock. There is a stretch of the Presque Isle River that has a number of rapids and cascades. There are rapids and cascades above and below the plunge. The surrounding drops are mostly shorter cascades over and around scattered boulders, etc. Easier walking paths make this a great and shorter time to the waterfalls.
